Paul George and Free Agency

For Thunder fans, this off season is going to be a wild one. OKC has 5 key players becoming free agents, here’s the list: Paul George, Carmelo Anthony, Jerami Grant, Raymond Felton, and Corey Brewer. One of the most sought after player is Paul George. His talent is what many teams need in order to make a deep playoff run. But what does PG himself want? While George said, “I’d love to remain a Thunder, but that’s what the Summer is for.” is he leaning towards leaving Oklahoma and going for his intended destination of Los Angeles? Some sources say he is ready to leave, and then a few days later, sources tell us he wants to stay and will be a great fit with Westbrook. There is nothing we can really trust until Paul makes his decision in June.

Meanwhile, Westbrook and Paul have been bonding off of the court during the off season. The two recently went paint balling and had much fun in doing so. Russ told sources that he does not intend to influence George’s decision on whether to leave or not. As the clock counts down to possibly Paul’s last day in Oklahoma, fans and teammates are hoping he remains where he is and give the team another chance to prove themselves.
